I just copied over all the posts I wanted from my old Livejournal blog. I am officially here! Everything from here forward shall be new!

What the hell DOES it mean?

Oh yeah – Furzdurzel… you’re probably wondering what it means. I had no idea what to call this blog, so for now it’s “Furzdurzel.” I won’t keep you in suspense…

 This is the phoenetical spelling of my favorite weather abbreviation, “Frz Drzl.” Those in the warmer climates may not know, but “Frz Drzl” is often our meteorologists way of spelling “freezing drizzle.”

 Yep, it pretty much means nothing. But there you have it: Furzdurzel!

Here I am again…

New blog. First post. I’m one of the writers at Project Absurd. I’ve created this blog so I can post things not necessarily absurd, but still fun and/or interesting. I’ve actually had a blog elsewhere for a long time, but I’ve always been at a loss for what to do with it – it lacked focus and bored me. When we started the Project Absurd blog I found I really liked WordPress and their easy interface. So, I am now attempting to focus and get back to doing what I love best – writing!

This blog will actually probably focus on more than a few things, including:

1.) my upcoming wedding and the planning going into it

2.) the saga of paranormal phenomena that has plagued me since my late teens

3.) my obsession with all things retro

4.) my obsession with 80s metal and 80s pop music

…and whatever else crosses my mind.

I may start importing some of my more relevant posts from my old blog when I get a chance.
